Opt-in Follow-Up: Welcome

Jim West
Jim West

The welcome email is the first communication with your new prospect and the most opened of any email you'll send. As you'll see in this template, it’s important to remind your prospect of the info and links in an “official” message. Be sure to thank them, let them know what's next, and let them know when to expect in the next email.

Notice the P.S. where I include a call to action for the full course. This could also be a product page, link to additional content, request a quote, etc.

A NOTE ABOUT [FIRSTNAME TAG] - If you capture the first name of your subscribers, you can use a first name tag (found in your chosen email autoresponder) to pull in the first name of your subscribers.  You can even include it in your subject line.  This personalization can increase open rates and engagement with your emails.
